Dear Friend,
Our group offers You the chance to get up and speak. We give you honest feedback on your speeches so can then use that feedback to improve yourself and become a better public speaker.
Many sources say that public speaking is one of the most feared events in life, followed by death as a close second. Can you believe this? Something as simple as talking in front of people is scary? …The truth is, every member of Monday Nite Toastmasters group has had this same fear before! We all experience it at one point or another and at different intensities, some more so than others. Repetitive exposure to fear is one of the best ways to overcome fear. Look at skydivers. They become desensitized to fear. The more they jump from a plane, the more it becomes just as second nature as tying their shoes. That’s exactly what we do at Toastmasters. We practice and we build upon experiences while becoming desensitized to speaking in public. Some of our members couldn't even string a few words together in front of an audience before joining Toastmasters. Now many of those same members are giving near-flawless presentations.
We invite you to come visit our group. We meet the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month. If there’s a 5th Monday we’ll meet then as well. You can visit our group for free as many times as you like. If you decide on joining, membership dues are only $32 every 6 months.
Monday Nite Toastmaster's is located in the ColdWell United Realty Building on Old Spanish Trail Rd. It’s a three story red brick building, which is on the right if you’re coming from Langley Ave. It's directly behind the airport if you're familiar with Pensacola Regional Airport.
You've already came this far on your journey to become a better public speaker. Now is time to TAKE ACTION and become the speaker you're meant to be!
